The Sonnets of A BiPolar Bitch: Poems and Mental Health Affirmations
This poetic ensemble presents the struggles, hardships, addictions and pains of African American women who grew up in Harlem New York City during the 1990’s crack epidemic. These women were exploited, raped, abandoned, forsaken and diagnosed with mental health issues that caused them to loose the stitches of their minds. Yet they survived and thrived in the endless abyss of insanity by finding the power of their pens and the poetic voices of their struggles.
